![]() It's likely just an oversight where they didn't think about what if the player married certain characters. It's the same deal with every other character's ending in the game if they're paired up - everyone just has a copy-paste entry for their paired endings. Every paired ending for Corrin in Birthright and Conquest says that Corrin "worked alongside his/her spouse", no matter who it is Corrin pairs up with. I think the main reason the end card says what it says is that it's basically just a copy-paste job. Definitely didn't disappear into the void, nope. She even brings a bit of comic relief to the story, as she is very gullible and doesn't really understand the trivial matters of others.Yeah, she definitely lived at the end of that story. She's much different from all the others in that she is always very fanciful in her actions, and even her speech. This is one of the reaons why I really like Azura. She is very softspoken and modest, often considered "proper" by those that know her. It is true that she is extremely knowledgeable, given her fair amount of personal experiences being alone to fend for herself.Īs I have said before, Azura is a very kindhearted person, and is constantly encouraging Corrin to continue on, even when things look bleak. I have always found it amusing that Azura seems to know everything about everything. She always seems to have Corrin's back, and it is obvious by the way she treats him/her that they have a strong connection. ![]() Over time, Azura felt that she had lost what little connection she ever had to her family in Nohr and happily decided to remain in the peaceful Hoshido, with Hoshido's royal family serving as her surrogate family, and growing to love its kindhearted citizens.Īt first, I saw Azura as a very odd and often misunderstood character. With Garon refusing, she was raised in Hoshido similarly to the Avatar, and Queen Mikoto ordered the people of Hoshido to treat her like a princess of the kingdom. Since she was not as well-guarded as the Avatar, the plan went smoothly, and Hoshido kidnapped Azura in hopes that Nohr would negotiate with Hoshido for a swap. Sometime after the Avatar was kidnapped by Garon, Yukimura formulated a plan to kidnap Azura, hiring Shura and his gang to do the job. Despite her high status as a princess, Azura and her mother was treated poorly by Nohr's populace as a result of Arete 'replacing' the previous queen, and was distanced from Garon's other children. Azura and Arete ended up in Nohr, where Azura eventually joined the Nohrian royal family as a princess when her mother became Nohr's and King Garon's second queen consort a while after Leo was born. When Azura's father was killed by Anankos and Valla fell at a later date, Arete and Azura, along with Mikoto and her child, Corrin, fled from Valla to the world outside the Bottomless Canyon. ![]() Nothing is known of Azura's childhood, except for the fact that she was born in Valla to Arete, and as revealed in Revelation, this makes Azura Corrin's cousin. If she achieves an S-Support, she will have a son named Shigure and can potentially be the mother of other children, with the exception of male Kana. These songs have even greater power when used in conjunction with her pendant, allowing her to perform miraculous feats at the cost of some harm to her body. She is also kindhearted and aware of how others might be feeling.Īzura is a gifted songstress and dancer who can sing songs that have the power to do a variety of things. Azura is also very wise, and often finds that others misunderstand her due to her different way of looking at things. While she still feels guilty, she becomes much less hard on herself as a result. However, both have expressed that their love for her has always been real and regardless of her true origins, she is still their sister. This is stated directly to Corrin as well as through her supports with Hinoka and Ryoma, where she tells them that they no longer need to love her now that their rightful sibling has returned to them. It is obvious that Azura feels guilty that she received the love from the Hoshidan people and the royal siblings that rightfully belonged to Corrin. This stoicism can sometimes cause her to hurt others' feelings without meaning to, though via bluntness rather than naiveté, as she is not afraid of telling someone what she thinks of them. This most likely sprouted from her fear of provocation and rejection, and as such, she only opens up to people she is close to. Due to the heavy rejection, bullying, and discrimination she faced in her time as a princess in Nohr, and the distrust from some the people in Hoshido due to said Nohrian ties, Azura also developed a very stoic personality. Īt first, Azura seems very quiet and reserved, even around people she is close to.
